Joining us means becoming part of an international community of over 50,000 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility problems and delivering international projects with lasting local impact.As part of our growth, we are looking for an Schematic & Apparatus Manager (M/F) to join the design office at our Belfort site, a centre of excellence for the design, development, and manufacturing of locomotives and high-speed train power cars.Conformément à la feuille de route du système de performance Alstom (APSYS) et au Cycle de Management des Talents (PMC), le/la Responsable de l’Unité de Conception Élémentaire Schémas & Appareillage doit :
- Gérer les activités de l’équipe et les livrables associés en accord avec les engagements Qualité, Coût, Délai (QCD) sur les projets/programmes attribués au Groupe
- Gérer et développer les ingénieurs de l’équipe
- Garantir l’application des processus standards dans son périmètre
- Contribuer à l’amélioration continue du métier en collaboration avec le Responsable Métier du site
- Manage the team activities and related deliverables in accordance with QCD commitments on the project(s)/program(s) allocated to the Group
- Manage and develop the team Engineers
- Ensure the application of the standard processes in her/his scope
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Metier in collaboration with the site Metier Manager
- Performance Measurement/KPI’s
- Respect of QCD work packages
- On Time Delivery
- 100% of EDU assessment validated in the People Management Cycle system
- The list of referent people belonging to the site shared with the Central Electrical metier
- People Management Cycle on time / Succession plan / Development plan for the team and individually
- TOP3 learning list requested to Central Engineering
- Regular reporting to the management and alert in case of issue affecting the performance of its team
- Applying the standard processes and related methodologies and tools in order to ensure their Domain efficiency within projects development
- Defining, developing and sharing re-usable “design patterns” in their domain
- Managing integration of new comers
- Assigning the resources (staff, tools, …) for executing Projects engineering WP of their Domain
- Managing the workload, including the sub-contracted part (technical assistance or work-package)
- Contributing to the sub-contracting strategy in liaise with Sourcing
- Declining the PMC (development plan, objective, performance)
- Promoting continuous improvement initiatives in their teams
- Supporting Tenders on some costing issues
- Supporting Projects on some technical or process issues
- Based on In-Depth assessment report, defining a Top3 training priorities at EDU & individual levels, consistent with the Core Competencies and EDU objectives.
- Defining a yearly training plan to reduce the gaps between required and available Core Competencies at team & individual levels. EDU Engineering skills level must match with APSYS applicable roadmap.
- Networking with other sites to share workload, Return on Experience and Technology topics
- Keeping be informed of the QCD of Projects their teams contributes to, in order to propose improvements, if necessary
- If competency belong to the EDU, identify the referent people for the Metier
- Manages with their teams the Return of Experience with the Electrical Metier Network
- Being a pro-active contributor to the improvement of the EDU’s Metier rules and practices in collaboration with site metier manager and central metier team
