- Create comprehensive financial projections, including cash flow forecasts, break-even analysis, and funding requirements.
- Conduct a business valuation, factoring in market potential and scalability.
- Develop a detailed operational plan that aligns closely with the financial forecast, ensuring all aspects of the business (hiring, production, marketing, logistics) are financially viable and scalable.
- Help define the organizational structure, including roles, salaries, and operational costs.
- Prepare investor materials, including a pitch deck and financial model, to attract funding.
- Oversee the setup of critical business operations, including production, logistics, and distribution systems.
- Assist in hiring planning and onboarding key team members, ensuring alignment with the startup’s goals.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and supply chain management.
- Support the execution of the go-to-market strategy, including branding, marketing, and customer acquisition.
- Monitor and manage expenses against the launch budget, ensuring adherence to the financial forecast.
- Optimize business operations, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Establish clear KPIs and tracking systems for operational and financial performance.
- Document workflows, processes, and handoff materials for a new team member.
- Advise on the recruitment of a cost-effective operations manager or team member to take over day-to-day responsibilities.
- Experience in Startups: A proven track record of working with early-stage businesses, particularly in the food, FMCG, or baby products industries.
- Financial Expertise: Strong skills in creating financial models, performing valuations, and preparing investor materials.
- Operational Know-How: Experience setting up and optimizing production, logistics, and operational workflows.
- Strategic Planning Skills: Ability to create detailed operational plans that align with financial forecasts to ensure sustainable growth.
- French Market Knowledge: Familiarity with French regulations, consumer behavior, and market dynamics is a must.
- Strategic and Hands-On: A mix of big-picture thinking and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
- Excellent Communicator: Able to convey complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively with a founder and a growing team.
