As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO and play a central role across fundraising, strategic partnerships, planning, and operational excellence.

- Investment Strategy: Shape and lead the company's investor strategy targeting global VCs (US, Middle East, Asia).
- Investor Mapping: Identify, segment, and qualify top-tier VCs and strategic investors aligned with the company's deeptech profile.
- Outreach & Engagement: Serve as a key contact, initiating and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective investors.
- Content Creation: Develop compelling materials - investment theses, one-pagers, pitch decks, and narratives tailored to investor expectations.
- Data Room & Due Diligence: Set up and manage the data room; coordinate with internal teams and advisors to efficiently respond to due diligence.
- Process Management: Own the fundraising pipeline, track interactions, and ensure timely follow-up with all stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with scientific, product, and finance teams to ensure consistent messaging and aligned projections.
- Organizational Structuring: Design and implement internal processes to support operational efficiency and organizational scalability.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Define and monitor relevant KPIs; coordinate execution with department heads to ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Risk & Gap Management: Identify operational gaps and business risks; propose and implement corrective actions or strategic solutions.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare clear and consistent reporting for both internal leadership and external stakeholders, including investors.
- Cross-functional Collaboration Culture: Promote a collaborative, project-based culture across departments to enhance agility and knowledge-sharing.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct market research, strategic scouting, and competitor analysis to inform executive decision-making.
- International Expansion: Identify ideal locations for new offices; lead and coordinate international development projects.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Support strategic partnership development and contribute to negotiation and deal closure with dedicated teams.
- 5+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, corporate venture, private equity, and/or having led startup fundraising rounds - ideally in deeptech, AI, biotech, or healthtech.
- Strong understanding of VC dynamics, investor expectations, and Series B+ fundraising processes; existing network of relevant investors.
- Experience with licensing (in/out) and/or M&A is a plus, along with involvement in strategic deal-making or partnerships.
- Track record supporting corporate growth strategy, including structuring, operations, and international development.
- Outstanding written communication and storytelling skills; able to interact with scientists and synthesize complex scientific ideas for non-expert stakeholders.
- Comfortable interacting with high-level stakeholders; able to communicate with impact.
- Fluent in English (French is a plus); international exposure highly valued.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic outlook and a hands-on, pragmatic approach.
- Results-oriented and experienced in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using AI and modern productivity tools to accelerate deliverables.
