
Senior Frontend Engineer - Core Front Team (x/f/m)

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of core frontend services such as Internationalization (i18n), Client Storage, HTTP Client, and more, empowering all Doctolib product teams to build high-quality, user-centric applications.
- Enhance productivity and scalability through frontend tooling initiatives, using Vite and Rspack to accelerate builds, streamline CI/CD, and improve the frontend developer experience.
- Champion a User First mindset by embracing our Design System (Oxygen), delivering accessible, robust, and reusable components that enhance user experience and reliability across all our products.
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges, including large-scale migrations, architectural evolution, and distributed frontend systems using technologies like Module Federation.
- Establish and maintain best practices (“golden paths”) for frontend development, covering areas such as performance, automation, testing, and CI, in partnership with Staff Engineers.
- Mentor and support fellow engineers, sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and advocating for high standards in code quality, accessibility, and developer experience.
- Maintain a continuous learning mindset, proactively researching and evaluating new technologies, processes, and tools to keep Doctolib at the forefront of frontend engineering excellence.
- Have 5+ years of experience in engineering with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications
- Have strong expertise in React and TypeScript with experience in modern frontend architectures and patterns
- Understand the value of design systems and have experience creating, maintaining, or contributing to component libraries that scale across multiple teams
- Adapt quickly to change, embracing uncertainty and consistently solving problems to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Are comfortable with performance optimization and have experience with Core Web Vitals, bundle optimization, and frontend performance monitoring
- Have experience with frontend build tools and CI/CD (Vite, Webpack, Rspack, or similar) and understand how to optimize development and production builds
- Are committed to accessibility and understand the importance of building inclusive user experiences that comply with WCAG guidelines
- Have proven experience developing maintainable and secure products with a focus on code quality, testing, and documentation
- Are comfortable speaking English in your day-to-day interactions with the team
- Know how to implement frontend monitoring and observability
- Have experience with Module Federation or micro-frontends and the challenges of distributed frontends
- Have a great understanding of web application performance tuning, cloud infrastructures and security topics
- Have contributed to open source or maintained internal tools/libraries
