The Private Label Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of product initiatives across European retail customers. Leading the cross-functional collaboration between commercial teams, internal departments (R&D, Quality, Packaging, Supply Chain), external partners (such as design agencies and printers), and retailers, the role ensures the efficient development, launch, lifecycle management, and optimization of Private Label products. This includes managing or coordinating tender responses, artwork reviews, product specifications, and packaging development, while maintaining strong alignment with customer expectations, timelines, costs, CSR commitments, and regulatory requirements Project Coordination & Planning : • Build and maintain project plans to support product lifecycle, launches or updates, ensuring all milestones are met. • Drive, align and get the commitment of his customer and his cross-functional project team including R&D, Quality, Packaging, Supply Chain, Production and external agencies. • Ensure the respect of customer expectations, timelines, CSR commitments. • Identify and mitigate risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively solve problems. Tender & Product Development Management • Ensure feasibility of proposals by aligning with Quality, R&D, Packaging, Purchasing and regulatory requirements. • Optimize recipes, formats, and specifications in line with customer briefs • Contribute to improve margin where possible • Coordinate technical response to tenders in collaboration with the Key Account Manager • Coordinate timely preparation, validation, and shipping of samples to customers Packaging & Artwork Coordination • Lead the development, validation, and quality control of artworks and packaging. • Manage digital platforms and act as the point of contact for customer approvals. • Ensure final packaging complies with legal, Quality, R&D, and customer specifications. Customer Interface & Stakeholder Communication • Act as key interface for internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure regular communication with them, transparency on progress, and alignment on expectations. • Understand and adapt to the specificities of each customer to optimize project outcomes and ensure high customer satisfaction • Improve internal market knowledge sharing on market trends and products (offer per plant, tasting sessions…) • Contribute to commercial argumentation, portfolio presentations, and innovation opportunities. • To foster PM excellence, collaborate with other regional Project Managers to share and adopt best practices, tools, international plants knowledge and templates
EDUCATION&PROFESSIONALEXPERIENCE: • Master’s degree in business or food engineering • At least 18 months of experience in the FMCG sector, in marketing and/or supply chain with proven exposure to the artwork development process • Experience in Project Management • Languages: French, English (professionally written/spoken as a need), other European languages appreciated (Italian, German… ) • Digital & data tools: Pack office, familiarity with PIM, WAVE, SAP would be a plus PERSONSPECIFICATION: • Project management & Cross-functional leadership (Countries x Functions) • Customer orientation & Results-driven • Expertise in the artwork development process • Agility & adaptability • Collaborative spirit & Relationship-building • Autonomy & Proactiveness • Problem-solving: anticipating risks and making fast, fact-based decisions. • Attention to detail • Positive energy • Product development understanding • Curiosity & openness
