- Work in proximity with underwriters to maintain and underwrite a profitable book of treaty business, underwritebook of treaty business,by handling various underwriting support related activities.
- Helpunderwriters carry Help the underwriters carry out the contract administrative duties regarding preparation of legal referrals, completion of completion of underwriting files, correct entriescorrect entries in systems and preparation of underwriting checklists
- Contribute to efficient underwriting analysis and accurate benchmarking.
- Help drive greater consistency to underwriting, wordings and pricing across the segment and share best practices globally.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports related to marketing, underwriting and claims activities
- Contribute to reporting and projects of the Global Client Unit.
- Help underwriting teams manage their book of business, ensuring completion of tasks in a timely and error-free manner.
- Provide assistance and support to underwriting activities (risk analysis, pricing, negotiations, and business acceptance) related to designated accounts.
- Contribute to technical analysis of treaty submissions and wordings, within the framework of SCOR Group guidelines and procedures and in close liaison with manager and underwriters.
- Contribute to maintaining an efficient workflow system for renewal monitoring and reporting and engage with manager early on critical issues and cases requiring escalation.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and timely responses to queries.
- Propose measures to improve treaty performance, where relevant.
- Develop strong client and broker relationships.
- Maintain records of meetings and other marketing activities in the Salesforce database, following up on any related issue and sharing such information internally.
- Help prepare marketing information and briefing documents.
- Help monitor market developments, trends, and cycles within the designated segment.
- Working experience in international insurance company, reinsurance company or broker preferred.
- Prior experience of pricing and / or underwriting casualty treaty accounts an advantage.
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Strong negotiation skills and solution-minded
- Highly collaborative but also a self-starter, able to work on own initiative
- Well organized with a good sense of priorities
- Attention to detail, accuracy
- Experience of working in virtual teams an advantage
- High level of IT literacy: Advanced Excel; Word; Power point
- English
- German and/or Spanish an advantage
- Higher Education to University level or equivalent
- Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance and /or Actuarial studies an advantage
