You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of market dynamics and competitive trends, enabling Alstom to remain agile and innovative in the rail services sector. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Regional Marketing teams, Product Lines, and Central Functions), contribute to strategic planning, and deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making.You’ll specifically take care of conducting in-depth market research and maintaining global order and reference lists, but also preparing strategic reports and dashboards to support our vision.We’ll look to you for:
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the rail services sector
  • Monitoring competitors’ activities and preparing insightful reports for Product Line Management
  • Leading or co-driving global exchanges to gather insights on specific competitors
  • Compiling and presenting a monthly competition market watch during Services community calls
  • Attending industry events and preparing key findings to refine our strategy
  • Contributing to the yearly strategic update documentation and sustainability reporting
  • Collaborating on global market intelligence initiatives, such as the UNIFE World Rail Market Study

  • Master’s degree in Business or equivalent
  • 5+ years of international experience in consulting, market intelligence, strategy, or business analysis, preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A global mindset with an understanding of market needs and competitive trends
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
