Your ideas are our energy.Within the PROPULSION domain, reporting directly to the Head of the Nacelle / Pylon / Propulsion Stress/ FIDEX (ABIEP3), in the Competence Center (CoC) of the Mirabel design office, the position holder will take on the role of Nacelle integrator and will be involved in contributing to the Pylon.The jobholder will be responsible for developing engineering solutions to address product improvements and in-service findings related to the A220 Nacelle and Pylon structure as well as its embedded systems.In your role, you will:Be responsible for the integration of systems within the Nacelle & PylonBe responsible for the design aspect of system installations for Hydraulic, Fuel, Air, FIREX and Electrical interfaces.Work together with the supplier to develop solutions that meet the needs of the program, our customers, and our shareholdersDevelop/Foster collaboration with Airbus Europe (1P) counterpartLead problem investigation projects, review potential risks, and propose mitigation plansReview proposed design changes against internal requirements and certification regulationsProvide support to Production by assessing non-conformances, troubleshooting issues and optimize functional check proceduresProvide support to Flight & Rig Testings, review test reports and write certification reportsManage activities in accordance with suppliers priorities, timescale, cost and risk in line with programme directives.As our ideal candidate,You will possess a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.You will have 8+ years of pertinent experience in the aerospace fieldYou will have strong knowledge of Nacelle and Pylon componentsYou will have a strong knowledge of industry design practices and strong knowledge of the DO-160 test qualification standards.You will be familiar with safety processes for dispositioning Non-Conformance and Continuing Airworthiness projectsYou will have knowledge of CAR 525 / FAR 25 certification requirements, both from system perspective and structuralYou possess knowledge in B.O.M. and dataset creation with CATIA & Enovia tools (an asset)You will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment & be self-motivatedYou will be able to work with suppliers whose principle language of working is EnglishPlease upload your resume in French and English.
