- Act as Chair of the Anomaly Review Board Process, ensuring participation of all relevant experts from engineering, Satellite Operations and satellite manufacturers as required. Ensure timely follow up of resulting remedial and preventative actions with other divisions in EUTELSAT and the satellite manufacturers as required. Support the Satellite Operations team in any corrective actions necessary to achieve satellite safety and continuity of services.
- Be responsible for the Operational aspects of the Satellite Procurement process. Work with the Engineering, Operations, Ground teams and satellite manufacturers for all operational aspects of the satellites including Satellite Operational Interface requirements and deliverables provision during the pre-operational phase of a new program and ensure the successful testing with and handover to the Operational team.
- Manage the In-Orbit Support Contract with Satellite suppliers.
- Support the Insurance and customer requests regarding the in-orbit Satellite Fleet Health Aspects.
- Support the Fleet Management for engineering aspects.
- Master's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in satellite engineering and design.
- Good knowledge of GEO/LEO satellite, and its sub systems, constellation engineering, and ability to challenge and assess technical solutions.
- Experience with spacecraft flight software development and testing including Unit Testing, Integration & Testing, and Flight Software Qualification Testing.
- Experience in the development and/or operations of highly automated spacecraft (or other autonomous systems).
- Experience in the development, operation and engineering activities of satellite ground and space segment facilities, in particular procedure development, monitor and control, mission planning, on-board software management, performance analysis, configuration management, satellite database configuration and simulator facilities but also satellite activities linked to AIT (Assembly Integration and Test), Launch, LEOP (Launch and Early Operation Phase), IOT (In-Orbit Testing, deorbit phase.
- Computer programming skills - in particular Python.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent knowledge of English (B2 or higher).
