- Organize additional health and safety and environmental programmes and activities to promote the safe behaviour of employees and contractors and protection of the environment as required and / or identified during inspections, safety meetings, adverse event investigations and similar.
- Ensuring that all employees of the customer and contractors are instructed in the specifics of the construction site
- Coordination of contractor safety managers and safety advisors.
- Organization of regular safety coordination meetings and recording and communication of the results and tracking of actions
- Assistance in the monitoring and implementation of (on-site) EHS regulations in force.
- Reporting of the updated adverse event statistics. Regular data maintenance and provision of careful and up-to-date documentation.
- If necessary, arrange for or carry out additional safety instructions/trainings in the project.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable EHS standards and regulations.
- Participate in and facilitate EHS project evaluations, environmental audits and EHS management system audits.
- Participate in the emergency management team and identify and coordinate measures when necessary
- 8 years of EHS experience in major industrial or construction industries
- Demonstrated ability to work in Teams of different cultural backgrounds, hierarchical levels and skill sets
- Formal EHS qualification (SiFa, Nebosh, Safety degree,…)
- Safety, Environmental Engineering skills a must
- Management Systems relevant education e.g. against ISO 9001, 140001 or 45001 standards
- Auditor certifications preferred
- Native or Fluent French Speaker
- Fluent English Speaker
- UE citizen or in allowed to travel freely within Europe (Blue Card).
