Full time - Paris or London hybrid or Remote from Western EUKiln is now part of the prestigious French Government program from ! 🎉 🇫🇷As a Senior Platform Engineer at Kiln, you'll join our Infrastructure team (10 engineers) to build robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. You'll collaborate with Protocol, Smart Contract and Software Engineering teams to create tools and environments that ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and plays a key part in scaling Kiln's core platform.Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, multi-cloud & bare metal infrastructureBuild internal tools and platforms to streamline development workflowsEnsure high service reliability, uptime, and smooth inter-service communicationMaintain strong infrastructure security practices and compliance (SOC 2)Improve observability, alerting, and performance monitoringGuide architectural decisions and promote infrastructure best practicesCollaborate with teams to assess risk and ensure robust deliveryStack:Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, bare metal, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Prometheus, Thanos, Helm, Hashicorp Vault, FluxCDSoftware: Golang, Typescript, PHP, PostgreSQL, SolidityTooling: GitHub Actions, Grafana, GitOps CI/CD pipelinesRequirements:5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering in high-standard environments (FinTech a plus)Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationProficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and Helm for IaC and automationFamiliar with Prometheus/PromQL and observability toolingExperience with secure infrastructure management (e.g. Vault, KMS)Clear and confident in technical decision-making and collaborationProven interest in Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency - with understanding of protocols, staking, and DeFi.
