
DevOps Engineer (Openshift)

- Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, and Argo CD for efficient and automated software deployment.
- Provide deployment support across environments, leveraging Red Hat Cluster Manager for orchestration and Openshift/Kubernetes for containerization and application deployment.
- Work with Docker and Openshift to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications.
- Configure and support ServiceMesh technology, ensuring secure and efficient service communication in microservices architectures.
- Handle deployments and builds in an on-prem VMware environment
- Participate in design discussions and provide technical recommendations for CI/CD, infrastructure, and application deployment.
- Provide ongoing support for applications after deployment, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization.
- Leverage tools such as SonarQube for quality assurance, ensuring the integrity and security of deployed code.
- Provide hands-on support to the deployment team, including participating in troubleshooting sessions and reviewing infrastructure-related documentation.
- Interpret the application development, operations, and infrastructure implications of proposed solutions.
- Utilize architect solutions to implement end-to-end technology solutions that address client business challenges.
- Assess and optimize IT infrastructure, operations, and service delivery to improve efficiency and performance.
- Assist in designing and managing the implementation of new technologies, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
- Proven experience with OpenShift and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible (as a user or developer) for automation.
- Familiarity with Artifactory, SonarQube, and related DevOps tools.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues across build, deployment, and runtime.
- Working knowledge of public cloud platforms, particularly Azure (AWS experience a plus).
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio) and Kafka is an advantage.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
- Background in on-premises environments (e.g., VMware).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural, international teams.
