HSBC Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) serves as a core service provider for Commercial (CMB) and Global Banking (GBM) customers.
This Senior Transaction Services GCB4 role is within the Europe GTRF Regional Team helping drive the future shape of the Operating model for the largest trade bank in the world. The job holder will be responsible for supporting the GTRF Europe Chief Operating Officer, managing and providing oversight for the day-to-day GTRF operations.In this role you will have the following accountabilities:
  • Provide SME expertise/support as part of the Regional Team for all GTRF activities, supporting both onshore client service teams and offshore operation teams.
  • Project Management and support various work streams to implement the global GTRF Operating model across Europe Operations and Client Management activities.
  • Support the implementation of Continental Europe’s GTRF’s Centralised Booking Model including impact assessment, gap analysis and transition plans to align the new organizational structure, performance objectives and culture.
  • Governance: Prepare and execute the monthly Governance Forums and manage through to completion the actions arising from the same.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitates effective communication across onshore and offshore teams to deliver outstanding results for our clients
  • Strategic Planning: Align programs and initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives; identifying project opportunities, assessing their feasibility, and prioritizing them based on their strategic value.
  • Working with the broader GTRF teams and DBS organisation and leadership to ensure an effective business implementation of Op model and related technologies being deployed including overseeing delivery of STP, align and track KPIs/ OKRs against performance milestones.
RequirementsYou should apply if you have:
  • Broad knowledge of GTRF and other commercial and global banking products.
  • Operational knowledge of GTRF customer journeys, processes, policies and procedures.
  • Project/Program management knowledge and expertise (desired).
  • Experience in working with multiple strategic change programs to coordinate and drive change initiatives (desired).
  • The role requires the ability to navigate and mobilise through various stakeholders and influence within their team to deliver change.
  • Understanding of the documentation and discipline around the change management processes, activities, and outcomes including benefit realisation and performance tracking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned from the change initiatives and applying them on future deployments.
  • Experience of making complex judgements based on advanced analytical thought processes. Problems often require an innovative approach, based on extensive research.
  • Working knowledge and keen understanding of end-to-end bank operations, trade finance products and information technology systems
  • Personal passion and ambition for HSBC and GTRF, with the ability to travel
