Find out why you should join the Bandai Namco Europe family in Lyon, France by watching this video:Under the responsibility of the Release Management Manager and as part of the Production Services Department, the Release Manager is tasked with managing the submission process and coordinate the secure and reliable release of game content on 1st party platforms (primarily consoles but other platforms as needed).Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):
  • Serve as main point of contact between Bandai Namco Europe and our first party partners for submission and release matters
  • Submit master builds, store assets and pricing to first parties
  • Anticipate risks and ensure submission schedules are validated throughout production cycle
  • Coordinate the efforts of the content submission cycle, ensuring smooth and timely communication among stakeholders (including all BNE regions, where applicable)
  • Help drive adherence to internal timelines for digital content submission, and identify and escalate risks
  • Act as an expert in submission processes for all first party platforms
  • Keep up to date with release management process
  • Communicate the approval and release status at all stages
  • Attend weekly meetings with the relevant stakeholders to drive better communication and coordination
  • Communicate plans for content releases to first parties and any other relevant stakeholders
  • A first experience in release management or production in the video game industry
  • Degree majoring in gaming would be a plus
  • Experience with shipping video game content on console would be a strong plus
  • Fluent in English (French & Japanese are a plus)
  • Good knowledge of video game development and management pipelines
  • Skilled in administering products in first party platform portals (console and PC)
  • Knowledge of compliance QA and certification requirements
  • Mastery of Office suite, and tools similar to JIRA, Confluence, etc. would be a plus
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and project management skills
  • Proven ability to manage several concurrent multiplatform title projects autonomously
  • Detail-oriented, but able to step back and see the big picture when needed
  • Passionate about delivering great service
  • Ability to manage changeable workloads and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
