- Identify and monitor relevant funding programs at the European and also international. Locally, it could be national, and at regional levels (including grants, tax credits (CIR, CII), and calls for collaborative projects such as Horizon Europe, Bpifrance and also with the broader resource ecosystem to bring opportunities for the Group).
- Match and manage a pipeline of such funding opportunities for the internal or potential projects aligned with the Innovation Roadmap and strategic priorities.
- Prepare and support the submission of funding proposals, working closely with internal teams to ensure quality and alignment.
- Work collaboratively with project teams throughout the lifecycle of funded projects to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, finance, legal, and projects teams to collect the necessary data
- Track regulatory developments and funding trends to keep the organization informed and agile.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, finance, legal, and project teams to gather and validate required data.
- Identify high-potential startups through databases, industry events, incubators, and accelerators, and maintain a curated repository of innovative technologies with strong potential to enhance Eramet's R&D portfolio.
- Build and nurture a strong innovation network by engaging with global startup accelerators, incubators, venture capital firms, government bodies, universities, and research institutes to uncover emerging technologies and spinouts.
- Initiate contacts between external technology partners and Eramet. Work with internal stakeholders to enable technical and business discussions, facilitating evaluation, and driving PoCs.
- Master's degree or higher in innovation management, engineering, business, public affairs, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in innovation funding, technology scouting, or partnership development, ideally within an industrial or R&D environment.
- Proven track record in preparing and managing public funding applications (e.g., Horizon Europe, Bpifrance,...).
- Strong understanding of European and French innovation funding ecosystems, including grants, tax incentives, and collaborative project calls. It desirable if the candidate know how it works abroad.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams (R&D, finance, legal, business units).
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
