- Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience
- +7 years experience in Linux system administration and networking
- Linux shell scripting, programming skills (Bash, Python, Perl, Java...) and virtualisation experience
Admin support for special purpose systems including new tools implementation - Collaboration tools such as Atlassian Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket, File sharing solutions (Owncloud), SSO integration (Keycloak, LDAP/Kerberos/SAML/OAuth).
Ensure design of systems allowing all components to work properly together over multiple sites and tools
Perform periodic performance reporting and resource optimization
Hardening and locking down Windows and Linux systems to ensure full compliance with security requirements
Containerization- Docker and LXC
Monitoring - Zabbix, Prometheus, Elastic Stack, Grafana and Kibana dashboard creation
Administer Deployment management tools - Ansible
Manage Versioning tools - Git
Manage Web Services (Apache, HAProxy, Nginx), Databases (Postgres, Mongodb) and High availability
Install new/rebuild existing workstations, peripherals, services, settings, storage, etc…
Standardize workstations equipment.
Maintain network facilities in individual machines and settings of personal computers. New account creation/adjustment/cancellation. Manage users' systems/accounts authorization rights in the IT infrastructure.
Maintain data center environment and equipment. Inventory management.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.Profil recherchéProfil recherché :
QualificationsMaster 's degree in engineering, computer science,Work experience +8 yrs experience in Linux system administration and networking
Linux shell scripting, programming skills (Bash, Python, Perl, Java...) and virtualisation experience
Windows and Mac workstations support management would be an asset
Knowledge of the Kubernetes stack and Helm templating is a plus
Experience with IDS and IPS systems is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact orally and in writing to a variety of audiences
Fluency in English
