We are seeking an experienced DevOps professional with deep technical expertise in cloud-native environments and GitOps practices. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing Kubernetes-based deployments using tools like GitHub, Helm, ArgoCD, and OpenShift. You will play a key role in driving automation, standardizing deployment processes, and fostering collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Define and promote DevOps best practices across teams
  • Manage GitOps workflows and Helm-based deployments
  • Oversee OpenShift configurations, clusters, and GitOps pipelines
  • Review and validate contractor-provided configurations
  • Automate platform tasks using Ansible Automation Platform (Tower)
  • Facilitate documentation and cross-team collaboration
  • Work closely with IBM teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Strong command of GitHub (YAML, version control, GitOps)
  • Proficiency with Helm charts (creation, management, rollback)
  • Hands-on experience with ArgoCD for CI/CD orchestration
  • Solid knowledge of OpenShift (app deployment, pod management, routes)
  • Unix command-line proficiency for deployment tasks
  • Familiarity with Artifactory in CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform for workflow orchestration
Desirable Skills
  • Jenkins, Keycloak, IBM tools
  • Confluence or similar documentation platforms
