That's where the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process comes in - a cross-functional backbone involving sales, product, marketing, supply chain, hardware, and engineering teams. We are looking for an AI Tooler dedicated to S&OP Operations to bring more automation, accuracy, and speed into this process.In this role, you will work on projects such as sales history analysis and demand forecasting, CAPEX and deployment projections enriched with market data, and production planning optimization. Your mission: make forecasts more reliable, shorten iteration cycles, and give Scaleway the tools to make smarter and faster investment decisions.YOUR FUTURE TEAMYou'll join the AI Tooling team, a group of engineers passionate about turning AI into business impact. Each AI Tooler is embedded in a process to stay close to the operational challenges.For this role, you will be dedicated to the S&OP process and report to the VP Supply Chain. While you'll be the only AI Tooler fully focused on S&OP, you'll collaborate with other AI Toolers at Scaleway and partner with a wide range of stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Supply Chain.YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
  • Build and deploy AI solutions to improve sales forecasting and production planning.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to free up time for business teams.
  • Develop models and tools to increase the reliability of forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Product, Hardware, Marketing, Engineering) to integrate AI into the S&OP workflow.
  • Work with tools like Odoo, Salesforce Extract, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Excel.
  • Continuously refine solutions to reduce iteration cycles and accelerate decision-making.
ABOUT YOUHARDSKILLS:
  • Data Scientist / AI Engineer with 2+ years of experience (excluding internships), ideally with exposure to industrial or supply chain processes.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (ML pipelines, FastAPI, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of LLMs and their integration into agent-based systems.
  • Experience with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and information retrieval systems.
  • Familiarity with forecasting and production planning concepts.
  • Hands-on with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, Docker, Nginx…
  • Bonus: knowledge of Golang or JavaScript.
SOFTSKILLS:
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Adaptability, as you'll deal with a wide variety of topics and tools depending on stakeholders.
  • Rigor, since the reliability of this process directly impacts major investment decisions.
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
