- Aim at improving quality, securing supply and decreasing costs of the natural raw materials used by IFF.
- Participates in the continuity of production by proactive management of process issues
- Responsible of the transposition of finding developed by our agronomist R&D team
- Provide all technical support required by partners at source
- Assist local partners to implement and maintain sustainability certificationsJob Requirements:The ideal candidate will have:- Knowledge of vegetal production of various botanicals used for fragrances and flavors natural ingredients
- At least 5 years proven experience in a similar position, ideally in Madagascar
- Competencies in the field in agronomy (mandatory) and first extraction process (a plus)
- Knowledge and/or experience in the field of certification (Organic, sustainable, ESR…)
- Agility in human relationships. Ability to interact with partners in various countries and
cultures, with R&D, Procurement, Operations and Sales Organizations
- Demonstrated team building and/or leadership experience preferred.
- Curiosity and willingness to share our strong values in term of sustainable development.
- Fluency in English, French speaker
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skillset
- Solid problem solving and decision-makingJob DescriptionAs Agronomist - Vegetal Production Manager you report into the Platform development manager He/She will be based in Madagascar where IFF/LMR has production partnership.Role and missions:
- Assist local partners in developing and following-up production of various aromatic botanicals, manage collection and on-the-field transformation.
