- Contribute to advanced economic and quantitative policy analysis on trade issues for the OECD Trade Committee, contributing to planning, research, and drafting of analytical reports.
- Support TAD's work on resilient supply chains and supply chain interdependencies by maintaining and developing cutting-edge tools, such as advanced econometric techniques, machine learning, deep learning, network analysis, geospatial analytics, and risk assessment models.
- Assist in exploratory analyses of international trade and supply chain data and monitoring and identifying potential avenues for future work by the Division.
- Provide evidence-based policy guidance on assigned trade policy areas.
- Conduct rigorous impact assessments of international trade policy initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of specialised databases.
- Contribute to the planning, research and drafting of analytical and conceptual reports to provide economic and quantitative policy analysis of trade issues.
- Participate to the organisation of workshops, webinars and events organised by the OECD, including by interacting with prospective speakers.
- Collaborate with other Divisions and Directorates and contribute to horizontal and multidisciplinary projects and outputs as needed.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts with government officials, analysts and experts in donor agencies, international organisations, research institutions, universities and NGOs.
- Present work at internal and external meetings, take an active part in discussions with colleagues and delegates as needed and carry out revisions.
- Exchange with other directorates and participate to relevant seminars and meetings.
- Participate to discussions and meetings of the unit, the division and attend TAD meetings.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
- An advanced university degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, economics, management science, operations research, or closely related fields.
- At least two years of experience in quantitative policy research and analysis with substantial quantitative content, preferably in an international context.
- Experience in one or more specialised areas: advanced econometrics (panel data and time series), deep learning, machine learning, geospatial analytics, and quantitative risk management.
- Proven track record in transforming complex technical analyses into clear, concise policy recommendations.
- Proven track record of policy-oriented drafting and public speaking.
- Experience presenting to diverse audiences, including policymakers and technical experts.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and willingness to learn other programming languages, such as R and GAMS.
- Working knowledge of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) or demonstrated ability to acquire these skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of stochastic programming and network analysis is a plus.

- Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at 5 902 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
