- Leading and driving R&D projects.
- Defining the design specifications and test strategies.
- Designing, building, testing and evaluating of prototypes.
- Setting up of internal prototyping facilities.
- Selecting vendors and external collaboration partners.
- Experience with the development of class-III implants, or other highly regulated electronics products.
- Experience with Electronics CAD (Altium or similar), creation of Printed Circuit Boards.
- Experience with motor driving circuitry and digital control systems.
- Experience with Embedded Software (Firmware).
- Experience with electronics components selection and sourcing for high-reliability applications.
- Familiarity with standard project management tools and design controls for medical devices or a similarly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of medical devices standards and regulations in particular for Active Implantable Medical Devices.
- Experience with test method development, testing and validation of test methods.
- Knowledge of medical device standards and regulations in particular for Active Implantable Medical Devices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical education, or equivalent, with a focus on electrical, mechatronics or electronics engineering, control and automation or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 5 years of product development and project management experience.
- Fluent command of English, French is a nice-to-have.
- Strong ownership and self-drive to execution.
- Hands-on attitude with out-of-the-box thinking.
- Team player with cooperative attitude.
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to see “the big picture” within the project in order to be a primary resource to others.
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken (French is a nice-to-have).

- This is a full-time opportunity and requires willingness to relocate to Paris, France.
