- Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
- Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.
- Implement quality, health, safety, security and environmental policies in force.
- Provide technical assistance and recommendation in incident analysis or in related investigations.
- Maintain close cooperation with administrations and maritime industry.
- Represent QSSE marine department.
- Ensure coordination during emergency situations and reporting to top management.
- Participate in the Group management reviews with the DPA-CSO.
- Maintain close cooperation with all departments.
- Ensure that reporting is centralized.
- Participate to set QHSSE KPI's and make sure they are achieved.
- Issue a feedback on main serious deviations and nautical incident reports.
- Experience of minimum 8 years in shipping industry.
- Safety, security and environment knowledge (ISM, ISPS).
- Training in ISM and ISO Internal auditor ans CSO.
- Experience in accident investigation on board.
- Fluent in english both written and spoken.
- Management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a multitude of projects simultaneously.
