- Key liaison and oversee the team on matters relating to the regulator engagement and deliverables for the Corporate Treasury Division for EMEA regulatory entities, with a focus on GSBE - the European entity, including:
- Drive frequent regulator meetings and ad-hoc EMEA regulatory enquiries, including interpreting regulatory asks, preparing materials/talking points as needed
- Lead within the broader treasury division to facilitate the input to cross-divisional regulatory deliverables on behalf of Corporate Treasury
- Lead and coordinate the review and update of key Corporate Treasury regulatory policies, standards, and procedures (includes contribution to ILAAP, Contingency Funding Planning and Recovery Planning)
- Present to Committees and Boards on key regulatory and risk-related initiatives and policies
- Monitor, react and respond to new risks and regulatory guidance that impact Corporate Treasury in EMEA
- Assist in other regulatory and risk related matters as needed, including briefing material, talking points, material preparation, etc.
- Contribute to regulatory advocacy efforts related to funding, liquidity and other risks managed by Corporate Treasury
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulators (ECB in particular) and cross divisional stakeholders
- Work closely with global Treasury Regulatory team members to share best practices and understands regulatory landscape in other region
- 7-10 years of experience in banking or capital markets with exposure to regulatory engagement, preferably with knowledge of liquidity management.
- Experience with regulatory/auditory asks and deep understanding of their scope and objectives.
- Strong time and project management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment; communicate factually and influentially.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships remotely.
- Ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority.
- Prior experience interaction with regulators, in particular the ECB
- Familiarity with EMEA liquidity-related policies and regulations, including German local liquidity rules
