- Strong physic background (MSc required).
- Experience in electromagnetic field simulation.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with simulation software such as COMSOL.
- Experience with discussing with manufacturers to incorporate their constraints in design.
- Simulate and design novel magnets architectures for a low-field MRI machine with an emphasis on manufacturability.
- Design and simulate gradient coils to find the optimal trade-off between magnetic properties, power/cooling requirements, power electronic specifications & mechanical constraints.
- Simulate and help design antennas in various geometries at ~1MHz frequencies.
- Conduct Eddy currents simulations for design validation.
- Simulate complex RF shielding architectures.
- Drive collaborative design reviews with manufacturers to align on tolerances, production methods, and iterative improvements for complex magnetic and RF systems.
