As our Data Team Lead, you’ll lead a dynamic, tech-focused data team comprising a Data Engineer and a Data Analyst. You'll collaborate closely with product and business teams, ensuring our data strategy supports ambitious business objectives and enhances product offerings through innovation, scalability, and robust governance.🔥 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the data engineering and analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous innovation.
  • Champion and implement data mesh principles, enabling scalable, self-service data platforms.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact data products (AI, ML, embedded analytics) that align strategically with our client and business needs.
  • Ensure optimal performance of data pipelines, emphasizing FinOps efficiency and embedding Privacy/GDPR compliance by design.
  • Drive data literacy initiatives across the organization, empowering teams with autonomous access and data-driven insights.
😊 About You
  • 8+ years of professional experience, including hands-on work in data engineering, with at least 2–3 years leading small teams.
  • Deep experience with BigQuery, dbt, Dagster, Looker, Metabase, and Amplitude.
  • Proven leadership skills managing technical teams, ideally in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
  • Deep understanding of product data roles and passion for delivering AI, ML, and analytics solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strategic business insight to align data initiatives with broader company objectives.
