By joining cozycozy, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by helping millions of travelers worldwide find their perfect accommodation!As a Lead Frontend Developer at cozycozy, you’ll take the lead on shaping and scaling the frontend of a product used by millions of travelers. You’ll own the front-end architecture, drive key technical decisions, and work closely with product and design to deliver smooth, high-performance experiences across web and mobile. You’ll also mentor junior developers and help raise the overall bar for code quality and UX.Main ResponsibilitiesOwn the full lifecycle of frontend features, from technical design to production rolloutDevelop and maintain scalable web application features, ensuring high performance, modular architecture, and adherence to best practices across the codebaseDesign and develop intuitive, accessible, and usable UIs for AI-driven featuresDrive the evolution of our design system and component libraries, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and pixel-perfect implementationMentor junior developers and foster a collaborative learning environment inside the frontend team.Collaborate with our design, product, and backend teams to deliver user-focused, timely, robust, and high-performance applicationsTroubleshoot production issues, participate in peer reviews, write meaningful tests, and maintain up-to-date documentationStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Web development and performance engineering.Requirements6+ years as a frontend or full-stack engineer (frontend-focused), preferably in startups or scale-ups, with at least 2 years in a lead roleFluency in modern frontend languages like TypeScriptExtensive experience developing frontend application with Angular and Rxjs for reactive programmingDemonstrated experience integrating REST/gRPC APIsSolid understanding of data layers and GTM configurationStrong understanding of modern HTML/CSS and responsive web design principlesIn-depth knowledge of the browser DOM, async code and HTTP request/response lifecycleProven track record building design systems and component librariesA product mindset and a strong UX intuition — you think in terms of user impact, not just codeFluent in EnglishBonus pointsExperience with React and/or React-NativeExperience in the travel tech space,large-scale search platforms or high-traffic platformsOur Full Technology StackProgramming: Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, Python, Golang, RxJS, HTML, CSSDatabases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RedisInfrastructure & Other Tools: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab, Jenkins, Grafana, Jupyter, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, Airflow, Spark, PrometheusWhy join cozycozy?The opportunity to play a key role in the development of a fast-growing startup.A stimulating work environment within an international team.A strong entrepreneurial culture, with numerous projects to imagine and lead.Office located in the heart of Paris with unlimited coffee/tea, drinks, and snacks.Health insurance with Alan and a Swile card.
