- Develop and implement comprehensive licensing strategies for assigned IPs and product categories, aligned with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's overall business objectives and global IP strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential licensees to expand the licensing portfolio and drive revenue growth across EMEA
- Contribute to the annual strategic planning and budgeting process for the Licensing department
- Lead the entire licensing sales process, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closing for key accounts and categories
- Actively manage a portfolio of existing licensees, fostering strong relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion and renewal
- Oversee day-to-day account management for key licensees, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, royalty reporting, and product development guidelines
- Collaborate with Brand insurance team and Master Licensors to ensure all licensed products maintain brand integrity, quality, and align with IP guidelines
- Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of licensees, providing strategic guidance to maximize sales and brand exposure
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and consumer insights within the EMEA region to identify emerging opportunities and inform licensing strategies
- Analyze sales data, forecasts, and royalty reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular updates to management
- Work closely with internal teams including Brand Marketing, Legal, Finance, Production, and other regional/global Bandai Namco affiliates (e.g., Japan, Americas) to ensure seamless execution of licensing program and strategically leverage promotional efforts
- Represent Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe at industry trade shows (e.g., Brand Licensing Europe, Nuremberg Toy Fair) and key events to foster relationships and identify new partners
- Mentor and support members of the licensing team as needed
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing best practices and market insights
- Minimum of 7+ years in intellectual property licensing, preferably within the entertainment (gaming, anime, film/TV) or consumer products industries
- Experience in animating and managing direct reports
- Fluent in English
