You will be required to carry out this task for the projects for which Technip Energies is responsible, and for our recurring clients (mainly French manufacturers). You will be in direct contact with customers and regulatory authorities.Your main missions and tasks will be, but not limited to:
  • Model the consequences of hazardous phenomena (explosion, fire, gas dispersion, etc.) in support of Technip Energies France's risk analysis, structural calculation or project teams in order to:
  • Define safety and installation distances
  • Characterize Accidental Loading
  • Etc.
  • Develop expertise on the theme of hazardous phenomena.
  • Write technical and commercial proposals to meet the needs expressed by the clients.
  • Participate in internal research and development projects aimed at improving knowledge and modelling approaches.
The sectors in which these studies will be carried out are oil and gas, petrochemicals, nuclear, defence, space and renewable energies.Profile:Engineer by training with a major or specialization in industrial risks. Given the diversity of the issues encountered, a good understanding of the mechanisms driving dangerous phenomena as well as a mastery of several modeling tools/approaches is required. The tools mastered include at least the Phast® software. Experience in the use of a CFD tool for industrial risk issues is a clear advantage (FLACS, FDS, KFX, OPEN FOAM, etc.).You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis allowing you to propose solutions adapted to the constraints of customers.You are dynamic, proactive, rigorous and autonomous, and you know how to evolve and assert yourself in a multicultural work environment.You speak French and operational English and are mobile for short trips in France and abroad.Recruitment Process:All our positions are open to people with disabilities.
