
IT Device Consultant

- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues, both in-person and remotely.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), productivity software (Microsoft 365, etc.), and other business-critical applications.
- Deploy and manage software using deployment tools.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure a secure desktop environment.
- Document all support tickets and solutions in our help desk system.
- Assist with IT asset management, including tracking inventory and managing the lifecycle of hardware.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and contribute to infrastructure projects.
- Create and maintain user guides and knowledge base articles to empower end-users.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in a desktop support or IT help desk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, and user account management.
- Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel is a plus
