- You have strong leadership and technical skills demonstrated by 10 to 15 years in satellite telecommunication system developements, implementing space recognized quality standards
- You have evolved in international space projects and in industrial customer / contractor relationship.
- You have high level of hardware and software product/quality assurance technical expertise and support to all activities associated with spacecraft procurement programs.
- Monitor and control all the technical and management aspects of the Quality Assurance disciplines, during spacecraft design, manufacturing and test phases: selection and procurement of electrical & electronic parts, selection and qualification of materials and processes, reliability, safety, hardware and software quality assurance, configuration control
- Oversee and control the work carried out by manufacturer to ensure the adequate implementation of Eutelsat product/quality assurance requirements throughout the program,
- Manage and coordinate additional PA/QA support staff (quality engineers, quality resident ,engineers) and ad-hoc consultants assigned to the project,
- Regularly develop professional relationship with all internal and external contacts, in particular with the responsible experts involved in the various quality assurance disciplines within the supplier's organizations and/or agencies,
- Provide Eutelsat Program office (Program Manager, System Manager and spacecraft engineers) with a high level of spacecraft technical product assurance expertise for all activities associated with the design, development, manufacturing and tests of spacecrafts,
- Monitor the PA activities during the spacecraft assembly, integration and test activities at the contractor facilities,
- Participate in project design and test reviews at multiple levels (system, satellite and unit),
- Interact with the end-to-end system development team to ensure requirements traceability and associated verification plan,
- Carry out the hardware & software acceptance reviews in coordination with the program office,
- Manage the non-conformance control system and coordinate, with the support of the Program office, the inputs to the identification of non-conformances, their analysis, definition of corrective actions, and their implementation and close-out. To assess technical residual risks associated to the non-conformances and waivers, and decide on their acceptability.
- Strong knowledge of quality and product assurance requirements commonly applied in the telecommunication space industry,
- Strong knowledge of software development environment,
- Good knowledge of MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) methodology and requirements management
- Excellent knowledge in English
- Ability to work in a team
- The main office is in Issy-les-Moulineaux.
- Travel to contractors and their suppliers or agencies are periodically required.
- Home working is generally accepted on the basis of 2 days per week.This may be modulated according to project needs and to enforce in-person meeting when it makes more sense.
