- Actively research and identify new business opportunities, potential licensees, and emerging trends within assigned hardlines product categories across EMEA
- Generate leads, pitch licensing programs, and secure new licensing agreements that align with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe's strategic goals and revenue targets
- Negotiate commercial terms and contractual clauses for hardlines licensing deals, in close collaboration with the Legal and Finance team
- Manage a portfolio of existing hardlines licensees, fostering strong, collaborative relationships to maximize product development and sales performance
- Ensure licensees adhere to contractual obligations, product quality standards, brand guidelines, and timely royalty reporting
- Conduct regular business reviews with licensees to monitor progress, identify challenges, and strategize for future growth
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights specific to the hardlines sector to inform licensing strategies and identify new opportunities
- Analyze sales data, forecasts, and royalty statements for assigned hardlines categories, providing regular performance updates to management
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Brand Marketing, Legal, Finance, Production, and other regional/global Bandai Namco affiliates to ensure seamless execution of hardlines licensing programs
- Represent Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe at industry trade shows (e.g., Nuremberg Toy Fair, Brand Licensing Europe) and key B2B events to network and identify new partners
- Oversee and optimize the forecasting process for licensed products within hardlines categories, diligently monitoring licensing activity, including detailed sales tracking, adherence to product release schedules, and maintenance of the licensing database
- Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, PR, Social Media, to strategically leverage both the B2B Licensing team's communications and B2C licensees' promotional efforts, maximizing brand visibility and product awareness across all relevant channels
- Act as a key point of contact for master licensors and global counterparts, ensuring consistent brand messaging, and strategic alignment on a worldwide scale
- 4 years of experience in intellectual property licensing, with a strong focus on hardlines consumer products within the entertainment (gaming, anime, film/TV) or consumer products industries
- Fluent in English and French
