Gameloft is a Vivendi company.All trademarks referenced above are owned by their respective trademark owners.Job DescriptionOur studio has the ambition to launch a new Mobile project in collaboration with a massive and famous IP. In that context, we are looking for our new Studio Creative Director to be able to forge the vision for this project.From scratch, you have everything to create !You will have to clearly communicate that vision to all contributors, direct the project's Game Design team, and work together with the producer to lead the production team.The main tasks and responsibilities will be to design the world, game systems, social mechanics, and monetization strategy of our next ambitious cross platform game by working with the Game Manager and Lead Game Designer.What will you do
  • Establishing and maintaining the vision for the game throughout the duration of the project
  • Leading the development of the mechanics, systems and others components of the game throughout the duration of the project
  • Conceptualizing and developing the game and the design documents in great detail
  • Developing social mechanics and game modes to improve engagement and retention
  • Developing game systems within a free-to-play model
  • Being a mentor and a leader for the team by giving a clear vision of the project and inspire them
  • Working alongside the differents interlocutors in the company (Studio Manager, HQ, external partners) to communicate the vision of the game
  • Leading a team of Game and Level Designers, and reviewing their work on a daily basis
  • Maintaining a high level of communication and follow-up with the various departments
  • Pitching new ideas of concepts for the Studio
QualificationsWhat your skills are
  • A minimum of 8 years' professional experience as a Creative Director or Game Designer
  • Managed, from start to finish, and delivered at least several Mobile games
  • Experience with free-to-play games (IOS or Android) is definitely an asset
  • A degree in one of the following: computer science, multimedia, graphic design, video games, or equivalent
  • English-French bilingualism is an asset
  • Experience with prototyping tools (Unity, GameMaker, etc.) is an asset
  • Solid experience with multimedia software (PowerPoint, Premiere, etc.) and management tools such as JIRA, Excel, etc.
