Our group is ranked in the Top 3 in the cosmetics industry and in the Top 10 in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.Your missionPierre Fabre Laboratories is hiring a Senior Outsourcing Manager within the Clinical Platform for Operational Excellence and Execution Department.The outsourcing manager is responsible for the implementation of the outsourcing strategy and its monitoring across the full spectrum of PF therapeutic areas (oncology, dermatology, and rare disease) and PF sponsored studies. From Phase I to post marketing PF interventional studies, Real world evidence data generation and Early Access / Managed access programs.This includes the coordination of the below:Identification, assessment, and selection of service providers, CRO/CDMO oversight including
  • negotiation and maintenance of agreements
  • establishing clear, consistent, and open collaboration between internal clients and service providers to ensure optimisation and solutions-oriented approach
  • support performance management and leading process improvement initiatives to ultimately accelerate deliverables and objectives in line with the "Clinical Platform for Operational Excellence and Execution” mission and objectives.
Strong leadership, mentoring of more junior OSM and guidance throughout the clinical outsourcing and contracting process and oversight activities are required.In addition, the Sr OSM will be responsible in establishing efficient governance models with high level of interactive communication to set clear direction for the project teams and external suppliers as well as ensuring innovations / AI intelligence within the clinical operations space to support the company strategy.DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIESLead the clinical outsourcing process and work with the Project teams to deliver robust contracting agreements:
  • Coordinates scope of work discussion and preparation of Request For Proposal (RFP) in collaboration with procurement and the Project Teams across Departments for a study.
  • Participates in the selection of the vendor short-list, coordinates the vendors’ evaluation, drives bid defence meetings, insures robust proposal analysis on a technical point of view.
  • Coordinates the contracting activities (MSAs, Service agreements, Work orders, change orders, and amendments) with all relevant functional departments (e.g., Procurement, Legal, etc.).
  • Supervises the outsourcing processes and identifies solutions for the optimisation of these processes in close cooperation with the different internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors and evaluates the deployment of innovative solutions (AI, digital, etc.) on the platform's perimeter (IS, IIS, RWE, phases I to IV, EAP) and transversally.
  • Ensure that a governance structure is in place with the relevant selected CROs and successful functioning of governance bodies.
  • Ensure innovations / AI intelligence within the clinical operations space to support the company strategy and ownership of transversal projects implementation
