The Sales teams within Global Sales and Marketing provide client coverage across the institutional and intermediary channels.RoleThe French sales team is hiring a Vice President who will be based in Paris covering France intermediary investors mainly. Specific focus is expected on the wholesales market including asset allocators, multi-management teams, and private banks. Some regional coverage might be expanded to some Benelux based client relationships depending on candidate profile.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of IM France Sales this individual will have the opportunity to:Develop a deep understanding of MSIM’s suite of funds and investment strategiesLead the dialogue with both existing and newly acquired client relationships, in the intermediary channel, on MSIM services and productsIdentify, prioritise and target existing and new business opportunities for both public and private markets products to drive sales and business growthProvide input to product development and strategic direction of the sales teamRepresent MSIM in public as appropriatePro-actively develop relationships with other internal departments (product management, investment teams, marketing, etc.) as well as across other divisions of the FirmMaintain, create, update and report sales opportunities/pipelines/meeting notes in the CRM databaseQualifications / Skills RequiredStrong academic credentials from a leading university; bachelor’s degree ideally in Business, Finance or a related fieldStrong, proven track record in sales with intermediary clients including asset allocators, private banks, as well as unit linked insurance and retail platformsExperience in selling both public and private markets investment products is a plusSimilar experience in covering Benelux countries is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenCredibility to operate at a senior level within the organisation as well as across a range of external clientsStrong team player, ability to collaborate with colleagues across the team, MSIM and the broader organisationA keen interest in and knowledge of the financial markets across different asset classesOutstanding commercial acumen and high degree of attention to detailTrack-record of being proactive, self-motivated and goal-orientedEntrepreneur mindsetFluency in French and English is essentialWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
