- You will be responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives on key foundations topics such as observability, testing frameworks, and internal libraries, ensuring technical excellence and seamless integration across teams.
- You will proactively identify experience bottlenecks across engineering and adjacent teams, and lead improvements in internal tooling and workflows. From QA to Product, Safety to Backend, you'll help design and scale solutions that make the daily work of Yubo teams more efficient, reliable, and enjoyable.
- You will manage a distributed team of platform-minded engineers embedded across multiple squads, supporting them with clear scope, strong alignment, and a shared identity. Together, you'll drive the development of internal tools and automation that empower not just engineering, but also QA, Product, Safety, and other teams across Yubo to scale with efficiency and impact.
- As a people manager, you'll coach your 3 team members through regular feedback, tailored development plans, and opportunities for growth, while fostering a high-trust environment where engagement and psychological safety are top priorities.
- You'll also play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new team members, contributing to the team's strength, diversity, and cohesion.
- Finally, you will represent your team's topics in key technical discussions with Infra, Mobile, other Backend teams, and Product stakeholders, making sure Backend Foundations members always have a common strategy when acting in their squads.
