Job Category: Business tool supportJob Description:The P&C Product and Technology team within the P&C COO division, is in charge of the management of all the products used within the P&C Division. Its mandates are as follows:
  • Maintain, and evolve future-ready platforms by fostering collaboration with product owners, IT, and stakeholders, ensuring intuitive user experiences, service continuity, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Unify and empower cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, innovative, and high-performing tools that support underwriting excellence and scalable business growth across all P&C business units in collaboration with IT team and Business teams.
  • Drive automation, innovation, and performance through common development processes, integration of emerging technologies, and data-driven governance using dashboards and KPIs.
As a member of the P&C Products and Technologies, you will support the Head of P&C Application Services for all activities related to maintenance. You will be accountable for the service provided to the End Users for the products you are in charge of.Responsibilities:Key duties and responsibilities
  • Incident management
  • Triage and analyze front-end issues reported by users or monitoring tools.
  • Identify root causes of application problems and document findings clearly (technical and functional)
  • Consolidate issues when common root causes
  • Prioritize operational fixes (bug or change requests) based on their criticality and business impact
  • Collaborate with Product Lead to propose and validate technical solutions.
  • Tests and communicate with users when fixed
  • Report findings and progress to Product Lead.
  • Maintain documentation of recurring issues and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
  • Product testing
  • Perform automatic NRT and Sanity checks for each release and on a weekly basis to detect regressions proactively
  • Product regular controls
  • Perform weekly, monthly and yearly tasks (to maintain applications reference data up to date)
  • Review exceptions report and do the necessary correction to maintain quality
  • Use of AI (Copilot) for the UP maintenance
  • Contribute to the use of Copilot for maintenance and adaptation required to improve the level of service provided by Copilot, defining user journey, testing quality of answers...
  • Contribute to User onboarding
  • Organize training for newcomers and refresher sessions
  • Contribute to the communication
  • Communicate new releases,hot fix, incidents…to end users
  • Maintain user distribution list
  • Contribute to the user documentation
  • Contribute to the update of the user documentation in collaboration with Product Lead and User
  • Regular report to management
  • Monitor product operational performances with KPIs and report any deviation to the Maintenance Lead
  • Ensure Continuity of service during specific periods (peak times, roll out, vacation…)
  • Master one of the applications

Qualifications:Required experience & competenciesExperience:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst working in software application design within an agile environment either in a consulting firm or in Insurance/Reinsurance company.
  • Knowledge of underwriting processes and/or tools with an international scope is a plus.
  • English and French (written and spoken)

Technical skills:
  • Software application Maintenance management experience
  • Data extraction in SQL is a plus
  • Software Application Project Experience in Agile environment with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Reporting dashboards: experience with Excel, Tableau or other BI tools
  • Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of enterprise software architecture and workflows.
