The candidate will be part of the Engineering & Operations Team based in France (ideally Paris), with availability for short site visits across the country and occasional meetings at Plenitude On the Road headquarters in Italy.The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of charging stations in France by providing monitoring, technical support, performing remote diagnostics and managing anomalies within contractual SLAs. The candidate will coordinate on-site maintenance and repair activities, supervise both scheduled and corrective maintenance, manage spare parts procurement and contribute to the development of service processes and technical documentation.The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in French, and very good verbal and written skills in English. - Provide technical support to maximise charging station uptime.
- Debug systems and perform remote diagnostics on field failures by following established procedures for anomaly management within the agreed contractual SLAs, acting remotely or, when necessary, engaging contractors for on-site activities.
- Coordinate on-site root cause analysis, service, repair and maintenance actions.
- Plan and supervise both scheduled and corrective maintenance activities, verifying their outcomes.
- Order and manage spare parts with external suppliers.
- Support the development of processes, documentation and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions.
- Work closely with the central engineering and operations teams to ensure new issues are efficiently investigated and corrective measures are implemented.
- Provide on-call availability for second-level support.
- Travel to the Milan HQ when required for internal workshops.
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering. Degrees and fields of study other than those specified may be considered in cases of significant experience in the role.
- Significant experience as a field service technician, ideally within a similar industry.
- Knowledge of MV and LV electrical systems management and key HSE topics related to maintenance activities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams within the context of an MV or LV site electrical plan.
- Willingness to travel regularly - sometimes at short notice and for extended periods - with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset; must hold a valid driving license.
- Availability for out-of-hours calls and assignments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with external partners.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian would be an advantage.
- Strong self-management skills with excellent organisational and documentation abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and challenges simultaneously.
- Familiarity with IT, telecoms, infrastructure monitoring, or e-mobility technologies is highly valued.
- Skilled in presentations, reporting and the use of Microsoft Office.
