- This position offers experienced Database and Applications administrators the opportunity to lead the analysis, planning, and execution of all primary administrative functions for both Production and Non-Production environments within Oracle Energy and Water Application Installation, Administration and Maintenance.
- Provide 24x7 production support for Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases on various platforms.
- Provide support to complete stack including database, middleware (WebLogic, SOA), application (OUAF app like CCB, MDM, WAM, and MWM), and OS and cloud infrastructure.
- Support cloud infrastructure(IaaS) activities in Oracle Cloud
- Proactive administration and monitoring of batchs orchestration
- Proactive monitoring and performance tuning of databases
- Change and Release Management, Business continuity and Capacity Planning
- Database backup, recovery, cloning and refreshes using RMAN, Data pump
- Provide status reports to project manager and /or Team Lead
- Create documentation for new and/or existing technical methodologies
- Oracle Products Suite
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) in installing, configuring and maintenance
- Jenkins for customer automation
- Automations using Unix Shell Scripting
- Batch Scheduler
- Proficiency in all DBA responsibilities such as database Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, Patches, Backup (Cold and Hot), Recovery, Cloning, Space management, Database Security, Auditing, Troubleshooting, Database Design, SR support.
- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Experience in supporting production databases with high-availability in 24/7 environments
- Experience with Linux flavors (Solaris,Linux,Aix)
- In depth knowledge of OEM in installing the OEM, agents, monitoring , setting alerts and generating reports
- Proficient in capturing AWR reports, analyzing them and making performance improvement recommendations
- At least two years' work experience in SQL & performance tuning.
- Experience with ITIL Service Delivery and Service Support functions (Change Management, Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management etc.) is a plus
- Strong written and spoken French and English are required
- Ability to travel and work onsite with Oracle customers
