MissionsThe Production Engineer / Production Specialist ensures the availability of all resources required for decentralized production workshops among the Mining affiliates. Acting as the main interface between decentralized production workshops, Mining factories, and component suppliers, this role handles technical requests from affiliates and ensures the alignment of production standards, documentation, and technical processes. The position involves collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners to support the smooth operation of local production activities.Key responsibilities include;
  • Ensure the availability of required technical documentation for local production processes, including support for buckets and high-pressure hoses.
  • Define the technical content of work instructions, quality control documents, and technical drawings related to local production.
  • Validate and transmit bucket production drawings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Write maintenance bulletins regarding technical changes, documentation updates, tools, equipment availability, and other local production activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Liebherr norms and standards through Service Excellence audits and continuous monitoring.
  • Create and develop new standards.
  • Conduct audits and monitor best practices through action lists and reports.
  • Validate all technical documentation linked to local production activities before publication.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial reporting related to decentralized production activities.
  • Plan and execute up to 25% international travel to support decentralized production workshops
Profil
  • Expertise in fabrication of heavy steel components.
  • IWE/IWT/IWS certification a plus.
  • Mastery of product manufacturing processes.
  • Successfully completed studies with a focus on mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Control or Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
