The Specialist – Benefits position is responsible for preparation and processing, updating, and maintaining benefits-related records and processes.Job Requirements:I. Benefits Administration
A. Statutory Benefits
- End to end process of all types of government benefits from SSS, HDMF and PhilHealth
- End to end process of other statutory benefits such as but not limited to Solo Parent Leave, VAWC leave, Paternity Leave, Maternity Leave, Magna Carta Special Leave for Women, Retirement, etc.
- End to end process for PTO (paid time off), including the plotting of other leave types as applicable on WD
- Processing of HMO and/or GLI related transactions, including enrollment, deletion, reimbursement, etc.
A. Government agencies/Regulatory bodies
- Forms and fosters relationships with government agencies
- Do liaison work to BIR, Pag-Ibig, SSS, PhilHealth, and other government agencies, as deem necessary
- Deliver all official documents/communications to concerned agencies.
- Support Client throughout the visa application process
- Prepare and submit visa (9G or PV) applications to the relevant authorities, ensuring all required documents are in order
- Liaise with government agencies and/or embassies to track the status of visa applications and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensures that site clinics are appropriately provided with the necessary medical supplies and medicines
- Ensures OSH related reports are submitted on time
A. Statutory benefits
- Keep track of incoming legislation, circulars, department orders, etc. that are related to employee benefits
- Ensures statutory and government benefits are applied and complied with, in accordance with the PH law
- Stay informed of changes in VISA and AEP regulations and requirements and adapt processes accordingly.
- Maintain updated record of all corporate registrations at all times.
- Maintain statutory/government reports and records
- Ensures safekeeping and retention of statutory/government records/files in accordance with PH law.
- Maintain records and statistics of official documents delivered
- Organize webinars, and wellness sessions in partnership with HMO and/or Clinic Management vendors
- Organize and/or conducts refreshers related to company and government/statutory benefits
- Represents Benefits team, as deemed necessary, in case of labor DOLE/NLRC concerns (i.e. RFA, SENA, etc) related to statutory/government benefits matters
- Performs other tasks as assigned from time to time
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Human Resources, or any related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- 3-5 years’ experience in statutory/government benefits administration
- At least 2 years’ experience in liaising and/or networking in regulatory bodies such as SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth and BIR
- At least 2 years’ experience in AEP (Alien Employment Permit) and VISA processing such as tourist visa, 9G or PV working visa, including downgrading and cancellation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong ties with government bodies and other partner vendors
