
Technical Analyst

- Work with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business workflows into clear, structured system and data specifications.
- Support the design and implementation of systems integrations across platforms including WMS, TMS, OMS, and customer APIs.
- Create test cases, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure systems meet business expectations.
- Coordinate across regions and departments to standardize documentation, data models, and systems behavior.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for post-deployment integration issues and data discrepancies.
- Document system interfaces, process flows, and integration mappings using standardized formats.
- Ensure compliance with GXO's data governance, GDPR policies, and integration security best practices.
- 3-6 years of experience in systems/business analysis or IT solution delivery, ideally in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes (e.g., inbound, outbound, inventory, shipping).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills across technical and operational teams.
- Proficiency in writing business requirements, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with systems like Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP, Reflex, Salesforce, or custom OMS/TMS solutions.
- Solid knowledge of data structures and interface types (API, EDI, file-based, real-time and batch processing).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation, investigation, and testing (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Working knowledge of Agile or hybrid SDLC practices.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to GXO sites across Europe (up to 15%).
- Develop source-to-target data mapping documents, clearly outlining field-level relationships, formats, and transformation logic.
- Understand and work with JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI formats (e.g., 850, 856, 940, 945) used in logistics integrations.
- Document integration flows between systems like WMS ↔ OMS ↔ TMS ↔ ERP, ensuring process alignment and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement mappings using platforms such as MuleSoft, Apigee, Dell Boomi, or GCP Pub/Sub and Cloud Functions.
- Define data transformation rules, conditional logic, unit conversion, field defaults, and lookups (e.g., location codes, SKU codes).
- Create error-handling and retry logic specifications, and ensure robust interface fault management.
- Contribute to API contract definitions and interface behavior documentation (request/response payloads, headers, authentication).
- Support integration testing, including test data preparation, mapping validation, and reconciliation of data across source and target systems.
- Track changes to mappings and interfaces through version control and ensure alignment with change management processes.
- Maintain a centralized library of mapping specifications, field dictionaries, and reusable templates.
- Exposure to enterprise integration architectures and master data alignment.
- Experience with GCP, SAP IDocs, and message-based middleware solutions.
- Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io) for documenting data flows and system interactions.
- Experience in 3PL or large-scale warehouse environments is highly advantageous.
