We are currently seeking a HSE Design Risk Quantification Engineer to join our team based in Paris.About the positionReporting to the Risk Quantification Department Manager and under the functional authority of the HSE Design Lead or the Project Risk Quantification Lead, you will be responsible for carrying out Risk Quantification activities on one or more Technip Energies projects.This position involves strong interactions with other disciplines (Processes, Piping, Civil Engineering, Structural, etc.).Your main missions are:- Participate in safety reviews (layout plan, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP Workshop, etc.),- Modeling the consequences of dangerous phenomena (toxic releases, fire, explosions) for the definition of safety distances on projects, for the specification of the dimensioning of buildings/structures, resistance to accidental loads, localization of vent & flare events- The specification and follow-up of quantitative risk assessments (QRA) for onshore and offshore projects, as well as other quantified risk safety studies (fire, explosion, cryogenic, etc.),- Specification and monitoring of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) studies subcontracted to the company. This includes HIPS (High Integrity Protection System) studies,- Participation in research and development activities carried out within the Risk Quantification departmentAbout youEngineer with a generalist or process engineering background,Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, process and plant technologies.Good knowledge of practices, codes and standards in the field of technological and environmental risk control.Experience required:In industrial risk assessment (definition of accident scenarios/ calculation of their frequency of occurrence and their consequences - safety distances/ risk level integration calculations).
In Quantitative Risk Assessment, Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment, Ship Collision, Dropped Object Study, etc.) on onshore or offshore industrial installations,
Good knowledge of accidental hazardous phenomena (dispersion, fire, explosion, cryogenic release, etc.)
Use of simulation tools such as Phast®, Safeti®, FRED®, FLACS® or equivalent.
