
Lead Risk Quantification Engineer (HSED) F/M

- The day-to-day management of a team of Risk Quantification engineer(s) (organization of activities, monitoring and validation of the technical orientations of the discipline in relation with the experts and the head of department, technical verification of deliverables, etc.),
- Report on the physical progress of the discipline to the HSE Design Lead, to the project management team, to the head of the HSE Design departments. When needed, propose corrective actions,
- Assist the HSE Design Lead in decisions on the main HSE Design technical subjects (eg. protection philosophies, design against major accidental events, HSE critical element identification, etc.),
- Participate in safety reviews (implementation plan, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP Workshop, etc.),
- Carry out or validate consequence modelling of hazardous phenomena (toxic releases, fire or explosion events) for the definition of safety distances on projects, for the specification of the design accidental loads of buildings / structures, resistance to accidental loads, the location of vents or flares,
- The coordination, the in-house execution or the follow-up of subcontracting of activities such as:
- Risk quantification activities - QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment) for onshore or offshore projects, as well as other safety studies (FRA, ERA; CRA, ESSA, etc.),
- Reliability / availability study - RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability), HIPS (High Integrity Protection System) study,
- Participation in research and development activities carried out within the Risk Quantification department.
