- Develop a comprehensive documentation strategy and structure that meets organizational standards.
- Provide a documentation portal reader friendly experience by making the key features like documentation structure, navigation, search, AI help engaging and efficient.
- Define and implement processes, tools and best practices in collaboration with the Axway technical writer community.
- Maintain and enhance high quality documentation delivery in collaboration with our documentation portal provider.
- Evaluate current content (analytics) and develop innovative methods for improvement.
- Research, create, and maintain a sustainable and resilient documentation strategy.
- Research and optimize content structure, working closely with the R&D and product management teams to understand their requirements.
- Build efficient and effective documentation processes, and develop and document procedure manuals for documentation authoring, storage, reuse and publication.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships within R&D as well as other departments (UX, Product Management, Support, PreSales) to gather feedback and develop documentation improvement plans.
- Work with R&D teams and technical writers to define best solutions for a seamless integration of documentation delivery in the product release cycle.
- Work with our documentation portal provider on issues resolution and maximize documentation portal high availability.
- Five or more years of experience as an effective technical writer in a software company.
- Experience in defining and implementing a documentation strategy. Familiar with the Doc as Code approach and markdown.
- Experience in various tools to manage documentation including XML based tools, Flare, Confluence, …
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand new documentation practices and standards and integrate them in the documentation strategy.
- Superb written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in working in a transversal role with technical writers, engineers and product managers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or relevant technical field.
- Firm understanding of SDLC (software development lifecycle).
- Previous experience in agile software development.
- Familiar with the Zoomin platform.
