OctevilleQuality & Continuous Improvement Project Manager M/WVOTRE OPPORTUNITÉThe position of Quality & Continuous improvement Project Manager R&D offers a dynamic environment to utilize and expand your expertise in continuous improvement and Quality Management System. This transversal position involves working with the Global group quality team and across the different functions within Sidel (Supply Chain, Engineering…).VOTRE MISSIONYour mission is to perform throughout R&D the all-important tasks of defining, implementing and maintaining Continuous Improvement activities but as well a sustainable, modern and efficient Quality Management System. Driving best-in-class quality standards within R&D. Both activities ensure excellence across operations, contributing to the organization's long-term success.QMS Responsibilities
  • Ensure that Quality Management System (QMS) (processes, procedures, roles and responsibilities) requirements and methods are properly defined, integrated and harmonized across functions inside R&D and work together to achieve quality objectives
  • Develop a QMS network across R&D and define entry-points for each function
  • Prepare, participate and lead internal audits using ISO9001 referential.
  • Analyze quality indicators and propose corrective and preventive action plans.
Continuous Improvement Responsibilities
  • Deploy and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
  • Support teams in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing actions.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects within R&D.
  • Make sure to establish and promote in R&D a culture of proactive approach to quality management, aimed at constantly improving performance and reducing waste.
  • Ensure training and skill development of employees to enhance CI culture and skills across R&D.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments (production, R&D, supply chain, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities and deliver tangible results.
  • Harmonize methods, roles, and responsibilities for CI within R&D
  • Monitor and report on project progress and control the effectiveness of the improvements ensuring timely resolution of obstacles.
  • Establish KPIs and milestones for CI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Occasional travel required
VOTRE PROFILEducation and Languages:You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or quality management (or equivalent), providing you with a solid technical foundation. You are fluent in professional English; knowledge of French and Italian is a strong asset.Professional Skills and Experience:You have at least 5 years of proven experience in managing continuous improvement projects and Quality Management Systems within R&D, preferably in an industrial or technological environment. You are well-versed in ISO standards and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and SPC, and demonstrate expertise in continuous improvement methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.You possess a strong command of ERP systems and document management tools. Your analytical mindset, rigor, and organizational skills enable you to drive cross-functional collaboration and effectively lead multidisciplinary teams. You are a clear and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal, with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.Proficiency in digital tools—including the Microsoft Office suite, ERP platforms, project management solutions (such as EPPM), Power BI, and AI-integrated software—is expected.
