We're seeking a Software Technical Writer (m/f/d) who is passionate about turning complex ideas into clear, impactful content that drives understanding and action.About the roleAs part of our Documentation team, you’ll:play a pivotal role in transforming how we enable both internal and external userscraft intuitive, high-impact content that leverages AI-enhanced tools and insights to improve clarity, accessibility, and user experiencecollaborate closely with Product Owners, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to research, write, design, and deliver high-quality product documentationYour work will directly influence how our customers engage with Enablon products and realize their full potential.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Writer Activities:Write, update, review, and publish product documentation (e.g. Online content, guides, Release Notes, Technical documents, etc.) in English, working closely with Enablon colleagues and freelance writersWork with stakeholders to identify needs, potential gaps, and improvementsGain an understanding of user needs, enabling you to distill complex features into easily digestible and user-friendly formatsProvide creative ideas for organizing and delivering content to ensure user success and increase Enablon functional adoptionMonitor content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to increase content usageProvide direction and support to the documentation team and to other colleagues writing client-facing documentationExpected outcomes:Enablon Clients and Partners better understand how Enablon products can solve their business problemsEfficient collaboration within a distributed teamAbout youEducation:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceExcellent level of written and spoken EnglishPrior experience:2+ years working in a professional environment in a learning/content creation roleExperience in a software documentation environment would be a plusOther Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:Technical Writing qualification or experience would be a plusDetail-oriented with proactive organizational skillsGood communication, initiative, and the ability to work well in a team-based environmentInterest and desire to ensure the content has the desired impact and outcomesFamiliarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for drafting, editing, or brainstorming contentInterest in learning how AI technologies (e.g., NLP, machine learning, LLMs) impact product functionality and user experienceWillingness to explore and adopt AI-assisted writing and documentation toolsWhat we offerA permanent contract in a stable, established company with more than 21,000 employees across the worldFlexible hybrid working possibilities and flexible working hoursThe ability to be part of a close-knit, supportive team, working in a fun environment, who are passionate about Technology and InnovationOpportunities to work for a global company with offices everywhere across the worldCool, modern offices; Great place to workComprehensive further development with structured onboardings, on-the-job learning, international career options or external training measures e.g. LinkedIn Learning, etcTeam events/PartiesWe promote your volunteer work with one extra day free for the Volunteer DayWe offer a referral program with referral bonusHere you can realise your ideas, learn, develop and grow.
