- Follow Sustainability trends, regulations, & keep the benchmark updated
- Contribute to the development and contribution of Group ESG Strategy
- Animate & coordinate ESG committees & routines related (in central & at Region/BU level)
- Drive the communication of the sustainability strategy (internally & externally) / Draft communication plan with communication team's support
- Collaborate with BU and sustainability managers to deploy ESG / sustainability & decarbonization strategies communication and support training to reduce the company's footprint
- Support the sustainability communication and production content for the training & communication departments
- Prepare and disseminate sustainability reports, case studies, and success stories
- Support Investor relations team to responds to investor's ESG requests
- Lead (participate and coordinate) ESG questionnaire response (non financial agencies / clients / NGOs…Etc.)
- Coordinate and manage (with internal contributors) the sustainability report: Ensure the preparation and publication of the sustainability report in compliance with CSRD requirements and the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards)
- Double materiality analysis: Update the double materiality analysis for 2025 and following years to identify material impacts, risks, and opportunities
- Internal coordination with CSR/ESG contributors from various functional departments: Coordinate the work of Nexans' internal contributors on the different ESRS topics following the results of the double materiality analysis
- Coordination and management of the external audit: Coordinate the work, schedule, and communication with external auditors
- Build ESG report / support presentation for COMEX and BOARD presentation to ensure traceability and transparency but also for external stakeholders, like investors
- Master degree - Engineer, Business School graduate
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ESG - Risk management - Project management
- Strong knowledge of CSRD framework
- Demonstrates autonomy
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information effectively
- Strong understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, including regulatory aspects
- Able to understand, explain, and lead change, working collaboratively with the various teams involved in the projects
- Fluent in English
