Reporting directly to the Head Of Engineering, you will lead the team tasked with designing & building our new Services where you will create a robust development experience and supervise the technical implementations of the solution.This role is ideal for someone with a delivery oriented mindset and hands-on expertise, who is ready to make a significant impact by setting up processes, mentoring other people and making sure the latest standards are being implemented.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design: Working closely with the product team, you will be tasked into designing the technical bricks from the functional specs they will hand over to you for each feature.Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior or mid-level developers, helping them grow their technical skills and knowledge.. You must also champion code review sessions to ensure quality & provide constructive feedback.Knowledge Sharing: You must Encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team through rituals & POCs keeping the team up-to-date with new technologies, trends, and best practices. As a small startup team, we must never be behind the curve.Problem Solving: You will be the team's anchor and go to person when everything else fails to solve critical issues.Project Management: Work closely with the product team to build clear technical tasks that will help break down features, and assign them to team members.Business Knowhow: As a lead developer you must ensure that whatever technical brick is being implemented makes sense in the overall daily functioning of Beev's business. You are responsible for building features that make sense.Coding & Development: As a Lead Developer, you will also be producing code, especially for critical components or when mentoring others.Testing & QA: You will define and enforce a strategy for automated testing, unit tests, and e2e tests to ensure that whatever we deliver has the least chance to break our platform.Profil recherchéDiploma: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent Bac +5 CS diploma.Experience: 6+ years of developer experience in a SaaS project using React.JS & other mainstream frameworks. Experience building a similar project in a startup is a big plus.Leadership & and communication skills: This job requires you to manage & guide team members whilst also communicating with other teams.
