The mission of the Finance Manager France is to build, develop and manage the French finance team, to take over French cos. Accounting from KPMG, and to ensure all necessary tax and government filings for all French cos are made.Activity- Build, develop and manage the French Finance Team, utilizing current resources and adding additional resources where necessary as we move from KPMG.- Take over the French companies’ accounting from KPMG, maintaining the current standards and complying with French GAAP.- Produce monthly and annual financial accounting for EURL (main production company in France), Hary Participations, Diamond Bidco and other French cos according to timetable.- Manage France billing process, credit control and collections.- Ensure all necessary tax and government filings are made on time for all French cos. Manage tax returns and declarations for France.- Participate in the upgrade of current Sage system and ensure new purchasing, FA and budgeting modules are effective for French cos.- Participate in the annual external audit process and in developing processes and procedures for French cos, within the Global framework.- Review payroll function carried out by KPMG and identify new payroll service provider.- Fixed asset recording and management.KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)1. Tax and government filings done on time for French cos.RequirementsPROFILE REQUIREDProfessional Background· 5 years experience in Finance Manager or equivalent role in FranceSkills & Abilities· Strong Excel skills.· Strong technical skills (accounting, tax, payroll and legal)
