- Develop, maintain, intensify and expand customer relationships
- Identify potential new customers / markets and business opportunities
- Observe and analyze existing and emerging markets as well as trends in the assigned area
- Identify new projects, initiate and follow-up on product qualification / design-in
- Arrange technical / commercial product presentations in-house and on customer site
- Plan and carry out professional promotion activities for the assigned product portfolio
- Negotiate prices and volumes with the customers in coordination with Product Marketing and Sales
- Prepare, supervise and monitor Global Supply Chain process including forecasting
- Monitor sales results and operations, report on the achievements by product and by customer to the Head of Sales or his Deputy together with updated sales plans and strategies
- Analyze and evaluate business results and submit regular business reports
- University degree or equivalent in Electronics, Telecommunications or related subject
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in a sales function within the semiconductor area, preferably in LSI or Memory Key account management
- Analytic and strategic thinking with a long-term horizon
- Very good knowledge of targeted markets and customers
- Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach
- Strong customer orientation
- Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision
- Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Team player
- Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality
- Very good communication and negotiation skills at all levels
- Persuasive and professional presentation skills
- Familiarity to work with state of the art software applications (MS-Office, SAP-GERP)
- Fluent in English, additional foreign language like German will be a plus
